Camden Rock'n'Roll Walk
If these streets could talk, there’s no telling what secrets they’d spill. What world-known musician may have chundered outside the pub after one too many? Where may the Ramones have huddled round to have a smoke in between recording sessions? What rock stars have fallen asleep in a drunken stupor on these well-traversed, dirtier-than-imaginable streets?
The Dublin Castle
Any Camden regular knows the Dublin Castle; that familiar warm red glow of the pub, the dark, atmospheric back room. Those tables that, while clean, have that particular stickiness of pub tables, where countless drinks have sat over the years.
The Roundhouse
15th of October, 1966. Camden, London. It’s the opening night of a new venue – a derelict 19th century train shed, re-imagined as an arts space. Long lines stretch far down the road. In the words of Jane Beese, Head of Music at the Roundhouse,“[it] set the mark for what the Roundhouse was going to be”.
And what a night it was.

Fairy cakes on acid. Still with me? Good.
